Terms of use
Short version: FGM is free, the simulation lives in your browser, we'll keep it running in good faith, and we'll tell you ahead of time if anything significant changes. Be a decent player, don't try to break the game for others, and we're all good.
1. What this covers
These terms govern your use of Football General Manager (“FGM”) at footballgeneralmanager.com and any subdomains. The service is operated by Kudzu Partners SL (Spain). By creating an account or playing the game, you accept these terms; if you don't, just don't sign in.
2. Free to play
FGM is free at v1.0. We may later introduce paid tiers (extra leagues, tools, cosmetics) but the experience you have today — one career, one match a day, cloud-synced — stays free. If that ever changes, you'll know in advance via email and on this page.
3. Your account
- One account per person. Multiple accounts to game the system — e.g. to bypass the daily-cadence gate — are not allowed.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password reasonable.
- You must be 16 or older to create an account (see the privacy policy's section on children).
- You can delete your account at any time by emailing info@kudzupartners.com from the address on file.
4. Your save data is yours
We hold your save data so you can resume your career across devices. We don't claim ownership of it. The “Exportar partida” button inside the game gives you the full JSON anytime, no questions asked.
5. What we ask of you
Don't use FGM to:
- circumvent the time-gating (one match per local day);
- reverse-engineer or attack the service (DoS, scraping at abusive rates, exploiting bugs for unfair advantage instead of reporting them);
- impersonate another person or claim a club name that targets a real person;
- do anything illegal under Spanish or EU law.
If you find a security issue, please mail us at info@kudzupartners.com. We'd much rather hear from you than read about it later.
6. Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaks rule 5 in a clear and repeated way. We'll tell you why if we can, and you can appeal by email. We don't suspend on a whim and we don't keep your data after closure beyond what the privacy policy describes.
7. The simulation, as it is
FGM is provided “as is”. The game's procedural generators (squads, names, fixtures, negotiations) are fiction; any resemblance to real clubs, players or events is coincidental. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, bug-free play, or a particular outcome on the pitch. What we do guarantee is that we'll fix what we can, when we can, in good faith.
8. Service changes and shutdown
We may add, change or remove features. If a change is material — e.g. retiring an entire game mode — we'll email registered users in advance. If FGM is ever shut down for good we'll give at least 30 days' notice and a final window to export saves.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct damages and capped at the amount you've paid us in the previous 12 months (which, on the free tier, is zero). We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost saves caused by your own browser cache clears, or the wrong tactical decision in a relegation final.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes go to the courts of Barcelona, unless consumer-protection rules in your jurisdiction give you a stronger forum — in which case those apply.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top tracks the latest material change. If we change something that materially affects your rights, we'll email registered users before it takes effect — you can always close your account if you disagree.
